The Silent Letter

Former US President Harry Truman had a rule: Any letters written in anger had to sit on his desk for 24 hours before they could be mailed. If at the end of "cooling off "period, he still felt the same sentiments, he would send the letter. By the end of his life, Truman's unmailed letters filled a large desk drawer.

"No man can tame the tongue. It is an unruly evil, full of deadly poison."
(James 3:8)

It's everyday's challenge to control our tongue, through the problems and dissappointments in life.

Me personally, I often have to be quiet, to control my anger.

As I walk in my life, I learn to do the anger management. I also learn about the damage uncontrolled tongue can bring.

The former US President Harry Truman, has taught me the new way to manage my anger and dissappoinment in life.

I think silent letter, it's the best way to speak up our mind, our anger, then wait until 24 hours..
Hopefully after that, we don't feel the same sentiment, the same anger.

Well, life goes on..

Silent letter,
Anger management,
That's what I learned today..

Simple Happiness in Life

"The days are long, but the years are short."

"Time is passing, and I'm not focusing enough on the things that really matter."
(The Happiness Project, Gretchen Rubin)

Hectic days in life, sometimes make us forget something that really matter.. Happiness..

'Was I happy?'

That's a little bit difficult to answer.

Because,
Life is up and down.
Life is about joy and sorrow.
Life is about ying and yang.

And then I am thinking..
Why don't I create my own 'Simple Happiness'?

For me,
My simple happiness are:

read a good book,

listen to Sting or Phil Colins songs,

and have a cup of coffee..

Just that simple...

And then,
I asked my friend,
She told me that, simple happiness for her is, to wake up in the morning, and thank God for the new day.

Well,
Everybody has it's own simple happiness..

#How about you?

Create your own simple happiness..

Have a Productive Life. Why Not?

A productive life..

The more I think about it,
The more I feel that it's not just about work.

It's more about the balance of life.
Ying and Yang

It sounds difficult to have a productive life. It needs some efforts.
I'm struggling to do that everyday...

Of course, my everyday's mood always up and down.
But I try to 'stay on track.'

I do these simple things, to 'keep on track':

1. Imagine Your Day and Make a Daily To Do List.
I always imagine my day early in the morning, before I start the day. And then I make my Daily To Do List.

The To Do List really helps me to keep on track. Because I am a kinda person that can easily get lost without To Do List.

2. Give Reward to Yourself. You did it! ;)
Everytime I did my To Do List, I always give Reward to myself.
It could be..
Hmmm..
I bought myself ' A bottle of Green Tea, Chocolate, Tic Tac, or mmm ... my favorite snack ever.. Happytos Corn Chips'!
Yummmm... :)
These kind of simple rewards always make my day...
Boost myself,
To do more..and more...

3. Announce it! Be proud of it!
Everytime I have accomplished something, I announce it in my own way.
For example,
I 've just done my writing for this Blog.
I announce it to my friends.
Tell them about it... Hope that they gonna read my Post.
Just be proud of it !

4. Take A Break, Recharge Yourself.
We are human.
It's impossible for us to be productive all day.
I always give a break to my day. Pamper myself doing something that can make me relax.
Reading a book, watching the movie or maybe just simply listening to the music.
Recharge yourself!

5. Make a Routine Goal Setting. Make it as Your Routine Habbit!
Challenge yourself!
I make a routine goal setting everyday. I try to make this as my Routine Habbit...

Well,
These are my simple ways to have a productive life..
To stay on track..

So,
'Have a productive Life? Why Not???'
